Welcome to Phoenix Remedial & Recovery

Phoenix Remedial & Recovery is a specialised clinic offering high-quality massage and sports therapy services, with a strong focus on performance, recovery, and individualised care.
Founded by Lisa Courtney, a respected therapist with over 16 years of experience in the industry, Phoenix was born from her dedication to helping combat sports athletes stay at the top of their game. Lisa’s deep understanding of the demands placed on fighters—both in training and competition—has shaped a practice that delivers real results through evidence-based, hands-on therapy.
While we’re known for our work with MMA, boxing, and Muay Thai athletes, our doors are open to everyone. Whether you're managing a sports injury, recovering from training, dealing with chronic pain, or simply in need of expert bodywork—you're in the right place.
At Phoenix, we treat a broad range of conditions including:
-
Sports-specific injuries
-
Pregnancy-related concerns
-
TMJ dysfunction
-
Plantar Fasciitis
-
General aches, pains, and DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)
Our highly skilled team also offers specialised treatments such as cupping therapy, dry needling, and contrast therapy.
Lisa’s background as a martial arts enthusiast has given her a unique appreciation for the resilience of athletes. Her passion lies in supporting that drive with personalised treatment plans designed to restore, recover, and elevate every client—fighter or not.
