Welcome to Phoenix Remedial & Recovery

Where we specialize in providing top-quality massage and sports therapy services. With over a decade of experience as a massage and sports therapist, our founder has dedicated their life to the pursuit of treating athletes in combat sports, helping them to improve their performance and recover from injuries. While we are renowned for our work with combat sports athletes, we are also proud to offer our services to anyone who requires our assistance.

 

From Common to complicated, we treat it all.

 

At Phoenix Remedial & Recovery, we pride ourselves on our ability to treat a wide range of conditions, from common injuries to more complex cases. Our practice specializes in a diverse range of conditions, including sports specific injuries, pregnancy-related concerns, TMJ pain, Plantar Fasciitis, right through to general DOMS. Phoenix Remedial & Recovery is comprised of several expert therapists who specialize in cupping therapy, dry needling, contrast therapy treatments.

 

As a martial arts enthusiast, our founder has developed a deep appreciation for the resilience and dedication of athletes and fighters. They are passionate about facilitating the best in rehabilitation by creating personalized treatment plans for each individual.

Founder and Director

Lisa Courtney

A massage therapist since 2006 & sports therapist since 2010, back home in Ireland. Lisa created Phoenix Remedial in the pursuit of her dream to treat athletes in combat sports, helping them with their performance & recovery.

Massage Therapist

Xavie

A massage therapist since 2012, in primarily day spa settings in some the most luxurious resorts in Queensland. She is currently studying her diploma to be a qualified remedial therapist.

Melanie Najib

A remedial massage therapist since 2023. Originally from NSW where she trained under an exercise physiologist in Sydney and massaged a variety of different professional athletes.

Mea

Mea comes to Phoenix from a background of managing a Pilates studio, she is warm and attentive. You will see her around keeping Phoenix running in tip top shape a few days a week.
